Banovich Ta Tanka
Renown artist John Banovich created Ta Tanka and felt it would make the perfect American West timepiece. The great beast, recreated in perfect detail in the bulino engraving by Christian Decamillis, was completed by the sterling case engraved by E. A. Lytle. The handcrafted gold dial markers expertly complement the gold plume hands and winding crown.
In 2018, to celebrate our 20th Anniversary, we created a commemorative edition of our Model 1920. Each was given the corona style gold crown, inset with a cabochon of platinum, and then individually customized to suit. The first was engraved in deep relief Western scroll embellished with gold star and rope overlay, and finished with a hand tooled, saddle leather strap.
Decorating the sporting guns of the most distinguished gunmakers of the world, fine European scroll is also a superb finish for our Model 1920. The black dial matches beautifully with the dark patina of the relieved areas of the refined scroll on this sterling silver case. Accent with a gold crown and finish with a black strap and you have an exquisite timepiece.
Classic Western Relief
Classic Western engraving is frequently a simple pattern made unique with the addition of fine lines and shading. The human hands of Master Engravers and Artisans is what makes an MWC timepiece so distinctive. A classic Western relief pattern against the white dial with luminescent hands and numerals and finished with a hand tooled strap makes this 1920 a standout.
Created for the Beretta Family in Italy, this unique timepiece has been hand engraved by our friends at Incisione Giovanelli in Gardone Val Trompia. Incorporating traditional Italian scroll with the bulino portraiture and then carrying it onto the case reflects classic Italian use of the canvas employed on the Beretta Premium Line of shotguns. Made specially for Ugo Beretta.
The Greek Key Overlay
The Greek key has been used in design for, literally, thousands of years. Here the client wished to have the classical design engraved and repeated on the lugs and bezel. Then, a touch of the West was added with the line engraving on the case sides. Finishing with distinctively Deco gold overlays gives this timepiece its very eclectic and unique composition.
Bright Cut and Gold
A contemporary Western combination made popular by the trophy buckles proudly displayed by many rodeo athletes is bright cut silver with gold overlay. The oak leaf and acorn motif on the solid gold dial is complimented by the white gold dial markers and highlights the clients initials under the blue spade and stick hands. A contemporary classic to be sure!
The Covey Rise
In this variation on the upland quail, created here by Christian Decamillis, the detail is spectacular. The fluttering gold leaves at the quadrants are inlaid and engraved with fine detail, creating unique dial markers that are an intricate part of the scene. The satined, stainless steel case has a simple clean coined edge and is finished with a hand cut and stitched black alligator strap.
Simple and classic, the gold trench lugs and crown beautifully contrast the titanium case of this Model 1920. The black lacquer dial is accented with hand painted hands and tan superluminova numeral fill. To follow the theme, the piece is finished with a black bison leather strap with white stitching. This classic proves that custom doesn’t always have to be fancy.
