Form follows function. By the close of the First World War the Trench Officer’s Watch was gaining popularity beyond the military and several major watch manufacturing companies began incorporating stylistic elements to this practical design. By adopting the screw-set wire lug and adding a curved back we have carried on the tradition of adding elegance to the Officer’s Watch design.
